For sale is an extensively equipped TECAN Freedom EVO 200 automated laboratory and liquid handling platform, manufactured in 2005.

This system was configured as a complete automated pipetting platform and features an unusually comprehensive configuration with three arms, automated plate handling and integration of a Hettich ROTANTA robotic centrifuge.

The system was specifically designed as an automated pipetting workstation with automated operation of the microplate hotels and the ROTANTA centrifuge.

For this reason, the two robotic arms perform different functions within the automated workflow.

Condition / History

According to the original equipment description, the system was used only very little and subsequently remained almost unused for approximately 8–10 years in a separate locked room.

The system was described by the original seller as fully functional and operates using a Windows XP computer system.

Known points stated in the original description:

• one microplate hotel no longer performs its shaking function;
• the microplate shakers require refilling with ethanol.

The system has already been dismantled.

We have not yet independently re-verified the complete automated operation following dismantling.

The equipment is therefore offered in its present condition according to the description, photographs and agreed scope of supply.
